Training exercises
Here are some exercises to improve the position of your hand and other related skills.
- Draw squares (by hand!) and draw straight lines inside - vertical, horizontal, diagonal… The task is to draw them exactly, at the same distance, as close as possible to the size of the square.
- Draw circles and spirals. The task is to draw a perfectly round circle without “gluing”, and a spiral with a regular step.
- Draw S-curves (curly brackets, arcs, etc.) of different lengths and sizes. The task is to draw a smooth, dynamic, asymmetric line (preferably).
- Maze
- Eight
- Geometric shapes
- “Petals” - petals from one center, without lifting your hand.
- “over” - draw a line or circle and then over it draw another, trying to hit exactly it. Even (especially) if the first line is not smooth.
All exercises, except 3, are done not quickly, but strive to achieve smooth lines.
Additional tricks:
- Zebra: use a brush sensitive to pressure and draw vertical (horizontal) stripes thicker-thinner-etc. After drawing one line, draw the second one beside it so that the thickens of the new one is opposite to the thinness of the old one. Complication - draw S-shaped lines.
